Middlesex County is excited to begin work on the first stage of the roundabout at the intersection of Glendon Drive and Vanneck Road/Jeffries Road/Coldstream Road.
Timing:
The work on this stage of the project is scheduled to start on September 9, 2024 and run until mid-November at which time the roundabout will be open to traffic. Work will recommence in early spring of 2025 which will include the realignment of Coldstream Road, construction of sidewalks and pathways, landscaping, and final paving. All work should be complete by August of 2025.
Detour Information:
As with any construction project there will be some unavoidable traffic disruptions. Flow of traffic travelling east and west along Glendon will continue but may be slower than what you would usually expect in this area. Access to Jeffries Road and the commercial properties in the area will be affected, please see the graphics below for more information of how traffic will flow during the different stages of the work this fall.
Vanneck Road and Coldstream Road will be closed at Glendon Drive. Detour routes are planned and those maps are provided below.
