MIDDLESEX COUNTY, January 13, 2026 – Today, County Council passed By-law 7389 to adopt the 2026 Budget of the County of Middlesex, which will result in a 3.87% increase to the tax levy. The 2026 Budget reflects careful planning to balance community needs with responsible financial management while investing in the services, infrastructure, and programs residents rely on every day.

Middlesex County is pleased to announce that it has received provincial approval for up to $3.4 million in funding through the Ontario Transit Investment Fund (OTIF) to support the continued operation and optimization of Middlesex County Connect inter-community transit services through March 2030.

The Middlesex County Administration Offices will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at 12:00pm until Thursday, January 1, 2026. Services resume on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8:30am.
