Due to mild temperatures and forecasted rain, Middlesex County half-load restrictions will be in effect starting Monday, March 3, 2025 until further notice.
With the warmer conditions, Middlesex County staff have implemented road weight/load restrictions to protect the integrity of our road infrastructure. During Spring thaw, roads are susceptible to damage and the reduction of axle-weights helps preserve the life span of Middlesex County roads.
