Middlesex County Public Transit Survey Open for Resident Feedback
MIDDLESEX COUNTY, March 12, 2025 – Middlesex County is conducting a public transit survey to gather valuable feedback from residents on the Middlesex County Connect and Strathroy-Caradoc Inter-Community Transit routes serving municipalities in Middlesex County and surrounding areas. The survey is open until March 21, 2025, and will collect input on routes, service areas, and travel needs. All County residents are encouraged to participate, whether they have used the transit services or not. Your input is crucial to ensure that the services continue to meet the needs of our communities.
Middlesex County Connect routes include:
• Route 1: Lucan, Ilderton, Arva, and London (weekdays only)
• Route 2: Woodstock, Ingersoll, Putnam, Dorchester, and London (weekdays only)
• Route 3: Dorchester, London, St. Thomas, and Southwold (Monday to Saturday)
Strathroy-Caradoc Inter-Community Transit connects:
• Sarnia, Strathroy, Mt. Brydges, Komoka, and London (Monday to Sunday)
These inter-community transit services have been made possible since 2020 through funding from the Government of Ontario’s Community Transportation Grant Program, which supports the operation of these services through August 2025.
This survey is part of a broader assessment of Middlesex County’s inter-community transit services, being conducted by the consulting firm Left Turn Right Turn Ltd. (LTRT). In collaboration with stakeholders, the consultant will evaluate the current transit routes, gather a wide range of perspectives and feedback, and recommend solutions that best support both local and regional growth. The assessment will assist the County in making informed decisions about the long-term viability of the inter-community transit services.
To participate in the survey, visit middlesex.ca/transitsurvey. A paper version can be requested by emailing @email or downloaded at middlesex.ca/transit-assessment. Printed copies are also available on both Middlesex County Connect and Strathroy-Caradoc Inter-Community Transit buses.
