MIDDLESEX COUNTY (May 25 2023): The Ontario government has honoured paramedics from across the province, including five from the Middlesex-London Paramedic Services (MLPS), with the Ontario Medal for Paramedic Bravery. The medal recognizes and applauds the bravery of paramedics who risk their lives in service of others. The five MLPS paramedics recognized have shown extraordinary courage and commitment to their profession and to their community.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY on May 19, 2023, Warden Burghardt-Jesson issued the following statement regarding Cardiac Survivor Day held at Middlesex-London Paramedic Service headquarters.
Effective Monday, May 29th, current Routes 1 and 2 will be combined into a new Route 2 to offer a weekday transit connection between Woodstock, Ingersoll, Putnam, Dorchester, and London. A separate connection that will link Lucan –Ilderton-Arva-London on weekdays is also being rolled out.

Emergency Management Coordinator, Bettina Weber, and Deputy Chief Administrative Officer & County Engineer, Chris Traini distributed certificates of appreciation to more than 20 CERV members in attendance at the Middlesex County Administration Building. With this week being Emergency Preparedness Week, it comes at no better time to honour and celebrate the long-term service of these exceptional individuals who have devoted their time and energy to making Middlesex County a safer place for all.
