This year’s Fire Prevention Week™ (FPW™) campaign, “Cooking safety starts with YOU. Pay attention to fire prevention™,” works to educate everyone about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe when cooking.

By being aware of this and following a few simple tips, drivers can give themselves the driving advantage and help avoid a collision

Middlesex County Administration will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Monday, October 9.

Elgin Road will be closed for bridge work between Cow Path and Catherine Street. The duration of the closure is estimated to be September 25 to October 5.

Parkhill Drive (CR 18) will be closed for municipal drain work between Prance Road and Sylvan Road. The Closure will be on September 25.

Middlesex County Connect will not be operating on Labour Day, September 4, 2023. Service will resume on the following day. Thank you for your understanding.

Dundonald Road is closed between Buttonwood Drive and Calvert Drive due to a culvert washout. This is an emergency closure and is estimated to last 2 to 3 weeks.

Due to heavy and continuous rainfall on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, several roads in Middlesex County may exhibit water pooling or washouts.
