Under the general direction of the Director of Resident Care, the Ward Clerk performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the operations of Strathmere Lodge.
Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Manager, the Housekeeper sweeps and mops floors, washes or dusts furniture and equipment, and carries out various other tasks as indicated on the daily cleaning schedule.
Provides library services to patrons following established procedures and policies. These include: circulating library materials, assisting library patrons with their information needs, and participating in library programming.
Assists the Supervisor or Branch Assistant with library procedures including shelving books, shelf reading, circulating library materials, assisting with programs and displays. Assists library patrons with using the computer catalogue, Internet, locating information.
Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager, Food Service Supervisor or Cook, the Dietary Aide prepares and serves food and beverages at meal times, sets and clears dining room tables and cleans dishes.
As a member of the nursing team and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or the Registered Practical Nurse, the Personal Support Worker performs various aspects of resident care in accordance with the policies and procedures of Strathmere Lodge.
