As a member of the nursing team and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or the Registered Practical Nurse, the Personal Support Worker performs various aspects of resident care in accordance with the policies and procedures of Strathmere Lodge.
Under the direction of the Manager of Social Services, the Case Assistant is responsible for the provision of Departmental programs for the Department and to support senior Social Services staff.
This is a temporary, full-time position for up to twelve (12) months and is part of our CUPE 101.5 bargaining unit.
Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Manager, the Laundry Washer/Worker sorts, weighs, washes and folds linen and resident clothing. Attends to resident admissions/discharges. Carries out labelling, mending and alterations.
Reporting to the Director of Resident Care, the Nurse Practitioner is a primary care provider to residents and works within their legislative scope of practice as described and outlined by the College of Nurses Ontario.
