Attainable Housing Review Update

The Committee of the Whole received an update on the Attainable Housing Review and recommendations on the strategy report. The Attainable Housing Review was intended to better understand the supply and demand for housing needs across Middlesex County, identify gaps in housing, and to prepare a municipal strategy to meet the current and future needs of residents. Through this review, various actions were identified to set strategic direction in clarifying roles in addressing homelessness needs, supporting a diversity of housing, and support of an adequate supply of housing that is affordable and attainable. Staff were directed to prepare an Attainable Housing Review Implementation report for Council’s consideration. For more information, see the Attainable Housing Review presentation and the Interim Final Report.

County Official Plan Amendment No. 3 Approval
