“As we approach the end of another year, it is with great pleasure that I present to you the third Annual Warden's Report. Serving as your Warden has been a true honour and privilege, and I am grateful for the opportunity to reflect on the remarkable accomplishments we have achieved in 2023. We’ve made significant strides to acknowledge the County’s relationship with Indigenous Communities, taken steps forward to promote diversity and inclusion, and continue our advocacy to support our most vulnerable residents.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY (December 13, 2023): Middlesex County is proud to announce the recognition of Chief Neal Roberts and Paramedic Robert Gordon for receiving their Governor General Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal for 40 years of outstanding service. Deputy Premier and Minister of Health Sylvia Jones presented the Second Bars to Chief Roberts and Gordon, who is a paramedic on the Neonatal Intensive Care Transport Team. The awards were formally presented at Queen Park, Toronto.

Middlesex County Public Works Association’s Generosity Shines: $38,500 Donation Empowers Local Charities  MIDDLESEX COUNTY on December 12, 2023: During the December 12 Council meeting, delegates from the Middlesex County Public Works Association presented a substantial donation of $38,500 to various local charities within the County. The funds were generated from the proceeds of the 2023 Annual Public Works Trade Show.

Middlesex County Proud Recipient of Rainbow Registered Accreditation

MIDDLESEX COUNTY on December 12, 2023: Middlesex County is taking historic steps towards fostering inclusivity and embracing diversity as it proudly announced acquiring Rainbow Registered Accreditation during the December 12 Council Meeting. This accreditation, granted by Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), marks the County as a nationally accredited 22SLGBTQI+ friendly organization. Being Rainbow Registered means that Middlesex County has not only met but will continue to aim for excellence in the standards set forth by CGLCC.
