As we head into the winter season, we want to remind Middlesex County Connect passengers that in the event of severe weather, any service cancellations or major delays will be communicated through the Blaise Transit app and on our website as soon as possible.

To stay informed and plan your commute effectively, we strongly recommend checking for service alerts before heading to the bus stop. Keep an eye on the app or feel free to give us a call ahead of time.

POSTED DECEMBER 22,2025:

Middlesex County secures $3.4 million in provincial funding for inter-community transit: Middlesex County has received provincial approval for up to $3.4 million through the Ontario Transit Investment Fund (OTIF) to support the continued operation and optimization of Middlesex County Connect inter-community transit services through March 2030. The funding supports four routes across the region, including the planned integration of Strathroy-Caradoc’s Route 4, and positions the County as the regional lead for inter-community transit.

Route 1: Lucan, Ilderton, Arva, London
Route 2: Woodstock, Ingersoll, Putnam, Dorchester, London
Route 3: Dorchester, London, St. Thomas, Southwold
Route 4: London, Komoka, Mt. Brydges, Strathroy, Sarnia

OTIF will cover 50% of eligible Middlesex County Connect costs, with the remaining 50% funded through municipal contributions and fare/advertising revenue. Middlesex County and current municipal partners, including the City of London, City of Sarnia, and City of St. Thomas, have committed to providing funding to date.

The strike by full-time support staff at Fanshawe College and other public colleges in Ontario is over. Middlesex County Connect Routes 1 and 2 will return to the original stop at Fanshawe College’s main campus in London starting Monday, October 20, 2025.

Due to ongoing strike activity at Fanshawe College’s main campus in London, Middlesex County Connect Routes 1 and 2 are experiencing delays. The Fanshawe College stop will be temporarily relocated starting Tuesday, October 14, 2025, to London Transit (LTC) Stop Sandford at Beckworth SB – #1619.

Route 2 Bus Breakdown – July 16, 2025: Route 2 bus experienced a breakdown during Trip 4 earlier today. We are working to arrange a replacement vehicle and restore service as quickly as possible.

Route 3- Temporary Stop Closure Near White Oaks Mall in London: Effective Monday, April 28, 2025, the Middlesex County Connect Route 3 stop on Wellington at Bradley – London Transit (LTC) Stop #1927 SB for the bus traveling from London to St. Thomas is closed due to construction until further notice.

Middlesex County is excited to announce the launch of our new inter-community transit route providing connectivity between Dorchester, London, and St. Thomas, commencing operations on Monday, April 8, 2024.

The new route will be operated by Voyago and will offer commuters four round trips daily, with two in the morning and two in the afternoon, running from Monday to Saturday. Morning services will operate from 6:10 am to 10:25 am, while afternoon services will run from 3:00 pm to 7:10 pm on weekdays, and from 8:10 am to 12:25 pm and 3:00 pm to 7:10 pm on Saturdays.

Effective March 4, 2024, the bus stop for Route 1 and Route 2 at Masonville Mall in London will be temporarily relocated to LTC Stop #700WB (Fanshawe at Jennifer 2) on Fanshawe Park Road E. The student pass is exclusively available for purchase through the Blaise Transit app and is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Download the free Blaise Transit app from the Apple Store or Google Play.

The pass is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once purchased. A new pass can only be purchased after the current one expires.
To use this pass, students must book their rides through the app and select the pass as the payment method when booking a trip. There is no requirement for students to physically print or display the pass, nor do they need to show their booked trip upon boarding the bus. However, students will need to present their valid student ID when getting on the bus. The bus driver reserves the right to deny boarding if the student ID is not presented.
***Please note that the pass will only appear as a payment option on the app if you have set up a "student" profile within the Blaise Transit app.
Students can purchase the discounted pass through the app in one of two ways:
- Select "Purchase a pass" as your payment method when booking a trip.
- Add the pass as a payment option in the "Wallet" section."

A new bus route is being added to provide a peak-hour weekday transit connection between London, Lucan, Ilderton, and Arva.
