FARES
Routes 1–3 operate under a fixed fare structure, where a single fare applies regardless of travel distance. Route 4 operates under a distance-based fare structure, with fares determined by the length of the trip.
Routes 1 - 3:
- Route 1: Lucan, Ilderton, Arva and London (weekdays only)
- Route 2: Woodstock, Ingersoll, Putnam, Dorchester, and London (weekdays only)
- Route 3: Dorchester, London, St. Thomas, and Southwold (Monday to Saturday)
All trips on Routes 1–3 are $5.00 one-way. Children aged five and under, veterans, and support persons ride free of charge.
Payment options:
- Cash (exact change) or credit/debit payment accepted on the bus. Bus drivers do not carry change.
We use Square to accept payments on our buses through major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Android Pay. - Pay your fare in advance when you pre-book your ride using the free Blaise Transit app, available for download from the Apple Store or Google Play
Please note:
- Veterans and Support Persons must be able to provide proper identification if asked
- Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to ride the bus
- Students booking a trip using the 30-day pass must present their valid student ID upon boarding the bus
Route 4: London, Komoka, Mt. Brydges, Strathroy, Sarnia (Monday–Sunday)
*Route 4 is currently operated by the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and will be included in the Middlesex County Connect system starting January 2, 2026.
Fares on Route 4 are based on the distance between stops, ranging from $5 for short trips to $20 for longer trips. Children aged five and under, veterans, and support persons ride free of charge.

STUDENT PASS
30-DAY STUDENT PASS
The student pass is available to all students, providing unlimited rides on Routes 1–3 for 30 days at a discounted rate of $160. Extension of the pass to Route 4 will be considered in 2026—please check back for updates.
The pass is exclusively available for purchase through the Blaise Transit app and is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Download the free Blaise Transit app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Click here for more information on the County Connect app.
The pass is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once purchased. A new pass can only be purchased after the current one expires.
To use this pass, students must book their rides through the app and select the pass as the payment method when booking a trip. There is no requirement for students to physically print or display the pass, nor do they need to show their booked trip upon boarding the bus. However, students will need to present their valid student ID when getting on the bus. The bus driver reserves the right to deny boarding if the student ID is not presented.
***Please note that the pass will only appear as a payment option on the app if you have set up a "student" profile within the Blaise Transit app.
Students can purchase the discounted pass through the app in one of two ways:
- Select "Purchase a pass" as your payment method when booking a trip.
- Add the pass as a payment option in the "Wallet" section."
LIBRARY BUS PASS LOAN PROGRAM
Explore Middlesex County Connect for free with our individual and family library bus passes, available at the Dorchester, Lucan, and Ilderton libraries.
- The family bus pass is valid for two (2) adults and up to four (4) accompanying children under 18 years of age, residing in the same household.
- The individual bus pass is valid for one (1) adult aged 18 years or older.
Getting the passes is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Visit one of the three libraries.
- Borrow a bus pass for FREE.
- Ride Middlesex County Connect for free on any bus route for 7 days.
The passes allow for unlimited rides on all Middlesex County Connect routes for a maximum period of seven (7) consecutive days and are not renewable. The passes do not guarantee entry on the bus, as bus capacity limitations may apply.
Please note:
- The borrower must be 18 years or older to borrow a pass from the library.
- Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to ride the bus.
Circulation Details:
- Holdable for same-branch pickup only; passes are held for 3 days for pickup.
- Loan period is 7 days and is not renewable.
- There is an overdue charge of $1 per day.
- The maximum overdue period is 7 days. Items are declared lost after being overdue for 7 days, and a fee of $200 will be charged to the borrower’s account. If the borrower returns the item, this fee will be waived.
- The pass must be returned to the branch it's borrowed from.
- Borrowers must be 18 years or older.
- The replacement cost for a lost or damaged pass is $200.
- Each pass can be borrowed a maximum of three times by an individual or family during the program's duration.
